We've updated the Hamachi guide with the Teknogods fix so it should be easier to set it up now.
What's more of an issue people seem to be having trouble with patching and getting the game to work afterwards. When patching you need to remember that you need to apply the patches in order and that you need to place them right.

Warhammer_40_000_Dawn_of_War_II_v1.1.0_Patch_GTI
Dawn_of_War_2_v1.1.2_-_February_23th_Update_GTI
Obviously you need to apply 1.1.0 first and then 1.1.2 (1.1.2 includes 1.1.1 aswell). One way to confirm that you copied them into the right place is overwriting, most of the files (except for the maps) should be overwritten.

Teknogods have done it again! Yesterday the 30 ping limit remover was released to the public. This if ofcourse good news to the community, but remember to thank the ones who made it possible and possibly donate to their cause.

A little update on the progress so far...
Windows Live has a builtin system that doesn't allow LAN games to be played if your ping is over 25-30 (similar to GTA IV). We are still waiting for a patch/workaround for this issue but if you got friends nearby or have a chance to get into real LAN, you can apply this temporary fix to play.
Dawn of War II torrent released

Update: The torrent by rForce was regrettably fake (error at 50%, file 351)
However, a much smaller file by WiCKED (3.6 GB) works
Even though this is a P2P and not a scene release, SP and all that stuff works.

Even though the first release date is tommorow (17 feb, North America), the game is out on p2p, you can find it on any of the popular torrent listing sites under the name rForce. I'll let you know as soon as i can if it's real or not.
As soon as we've confirmed if this version is playable (has a crack), we'll be opening up our hamachi networks, so stay tuned folks. :)
